Let your terminal pay for itself
Tybre.md can show small, opt-in ads in moments you're already waiting — while Claude Code thinks or finishes a response — so your terminal starts to earn its keep. Ads are off by default. Turning them on takes a login and an explicit consent step, and a single click turns everything off again, instantly halting rendering, collection, and transmission.
Off by default — enabling needs a login and an explicit consent modal; one click turns it all off instantly.
Ads appear only at AI wait and response boundaries — never while you type or run a normal shell.
Ads are drawn over the terminal, never inserted into it — copy-paste never picks up ad text.
Two separate opt-ins: showing ads is not data sharing — interest targeting is a second, default-off consent.
Only the command lines you submit are ever collected — never output, AI responses, screen contents, or files.
Local redaction masks API keys, tokens, emails, IPs, and paths before anything leaves; password prompts are skipped.
A $ button shows your earnings; house ads currently pay nothing, and real earnings begin when advertiser inventory launches.
Frequently asked questions
Are ads on by default?
No. Ads stay off until you turn them on, which requires logging in and accepting a consent modal. One click turns them off again and immediately stops all rendering, collection, and transmission.
What data is collected?
Only the command lines you type and submit — never program output, AI responses, screen contents, or your files. Before anything leaves your machine, local redaction masks API keys, tokens, emails, IP addresses, and file paths, and password-prompt lines are skipped entirely.
Does enabling ads share my terminal data?
No. Showing ads and sharing data are two separate choices. Interest targeting is a second consent that's unchecked by default; without it, zero terminal content leaves your machine.
How do I turn ads off?
There's a one-click off switch. The moment you use it, ad rendering, data collection, and transmission all stop.
When do real earnings start?
Real earnings begin once advertiser inventory launches. Today's house ads pay nothing, which the app states clearly.
Can I cash out?
Not yet — cash-out isn't supported. Spending earnings on sync credit or converting them to ad credit, and a cash-out path, are planned but not available today.
